Branching Out: Free Reads, Free Books

Valentine’s Day celebrations are observed worldwide, with gifts such as flowers and sweets exchanged. The CFNR Library organized a unique library activity, Branching Out: Free Reads, Free Books, to spread love by hosting a special book donation event from February 14 to February 29. The activity aimed to encourage the spirit of giving and benefit the CFNR community by sharing knowledge and fostering a love for reading. Although the donated books were officially withdrawn from the college library collection, they still offered potential treasures that nourished readers’ minds and enabled them to find new homes, continuing to inspire.

The special book donation event at the college library was successful, with 352 book titles finding new homes. Students, faculty, staff, and other university community members participated. This event served as a reminder that love can be expressed in various ways; the love for books can inspire, educate, and bring people together in extraordinary ways.
